Happy 1st Birthday, Ichigo and Chiroru!

It's the first anniversary of Amakune Ichigo's official release! Time to celebrate with new stuff -- namely, new art, and new(ish) voicebanks! Yes, after much ado, and an absurd year-long delay, the original Amakune Chiroru VCV voicebank is now available for download, along with it's brand new CV version.

Funny story: Chiroru may be Ichigo's "little" sister, but Chiroru came first. As in, when I started developing my own voicebank, that voicebank was Chiroru. At some point mid-development, I decided to tinker with the pitch, and dropped it down back to my own natural pitch. Strangely, I liked how it sounded, so I decided to ahead and release the unaltered "big sister" version alongside Chiroru. That version was Ichigo, who then, somehow, ended up getting finished and released last October. Meanwhile, Chiroru was sidelined as a pitchbend and derivative (because, I figured, "Hey, all someone has to do to get her voice is add the "g-15" flag, and boom: Ichigo becomes Chiroru.")

That's right. I made a derivative voicebank out of the voicebank character that came first, and made the "actual" voicebank out of voice files that were recorded for that now-a-derivative first voicebank. It's not quite dividing by zero, but only because math is not my strong suit.

Yeah.

Upon realizing that Ichigo's release date anniversary was October 5th, it occurred to me that that this would be an awesome time to finish and release Chiroru's voicebank (and subsequently allow Chiroru finally to escape Development Hell and become a real voicebank after all, and no longer her "older" sister's derivative.) Yay!
